Acoustic Curtains

Manufactured from lightweight glass fibre totally enclosed in a choice of fabrics. Individual curtains are sewn with stainless steel threat and quilted to prevent slumping.
The sides of each curtain are fitted with Velcro enabling them to be fastened together, thus maintaining acoustic integrity. The top of each curtain is reinforced to facilitate the fixing of eyelets to enable individual curtains to be hung from a rail.

Application
Acoustic Curtains are used in agricultural and farm buildings to
compartmentalise large open spaces. This facilitates the creation of different temperature zones
within a space, thus enabling fresh produce to be packed or stored in optimum conditions within
each growing season.
Acoustic Curtains are used in underground railway stations to create a
barrier to noise travelling up stairwells and escalators during refurbishment works and on
construction sites to control noise breaking out into the surrounding environment.
Acoustic Curtains can help reduce the volume of dirt and dust migrating between different
work areas.
Fire Performance
The glass fibre infill achieves a Euroclass A1 fire rating (non-combustible) when tested in
accordance with BS EN 13501-1.
The glass fibre infill is non-combustible, when tested in accordance with BS476: Part 4: 1970
(1984).
The black glass cloth used in acoustic insulation applications meets the requirements of BS476: Part 7 Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame.
Permanence
The glass fibre infill is rot-proof, odourless, non-hygroscopic, does not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria. It is dimensionally stable under varying conditions of temperature and humidity and is compatible with most surfaces it is likely to come into contact with.
